    This is a very …
This is a very common ‘what if’ thought process in anxiety disorder. If you eliminate your inappropriate anxiety, you won’t focus on these ‘fear of consequences’ thoughts. Charles

    It is sometimes …
It is sometimes difficult to differentiate between anxiety sensations and side effects of medications; I have experienced this dilema first hand. What I can say is that regardless of their cause, these symptoms are harmless and you should focus on a practical programme of anxiety elimination instead of always focusing on how you feel. I know it’s hard, I have been there too. Charles

    You should really …
You should really get back to school! The thing is, you now KNOW that nothing you experience can harm you and you should be comfortable enough to be in school. The diversion of school will also help you enormously. GO FOR IT! I am proud of you. Charles

    Very normal. Many …
Very normal. Many people experience night time and sleep anxiety and panic attacks. You MUST take care of your diet though Jules, much night time (and daytime) anxiety can be made worse by poor nutrition and fluctuating blood sugar levels!!

    Your baseline …
Your baseline levels of anxiety must be ellevated prior to reading in order for them to rise dramatically when you read. You need to address the core anxiety and it will make public reading much easier. Charles

    I’m tired. This …
I’m tired. This panic has taken so many parts of my life. I hang in there because I have children but honestly, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t care if I was here. No. I’m not suicidal. For over 30 years, I’m 40, I’ve learned to cope with the “help” of med’s to lessen the feelings but it is still there. With so many things claiming to be the answer, I can’t go through just another program. If I sound desperate it’s because I am. Do you really believe you can help me?
